If you are investing in stocks and want
to get stock market quotes and keep it for future use, you can do it
with ease by using Microsoft Excel 2007.
There are 2 ways you can get the stock

How to Get Stock Market Quotes in
Microsoft Excel 2007 Directly?
Firstly, you have to open your Microsoft
Excel 2007 application. Just in case you do not know, here is how you
can open the application. Click on "Start" on the left of your Window
Taskbar. Go to "All Program". Click on "Microsoft Office" and
"Microsoft Excel 2007".
In the Excel window, click on "Data" tab.
On the top left corner, you should see a box labeled "Get External
Data". Click on "Existing Connections", select "MSN MoneyCentral
Investor Stock Quotes" and click "Open".
You will be prompted to "Where do you
want to put the data?". You can choose to input the data in the
existing worksheet or new worksheet. If you choose to input the data in
the existing sheet, you need to select the cell you want the data to
paste on. Then, click "ok".
You will then come to a dialog box where
you will be asked to enter symbols of stock, fund or other MSN
MoneyCentral Investor. If you have more than one, you can separate them
with commas. If you want the same stock quote to be updated in the
future, check the box next to "use this value / reference for future
refreshes". If you would like the data to refresh automatically, you
should further check box next to "Refresh automatically when cell value
changes". Then, click "ok".
The quotes will be displayed in the
worksheet titled "Stock Quotes Provided by MSN Money". You shall see
all the requested stocks listed, with necessary information like
Previous Close, High, Low, Volume, Change, % Change, 52 Wk High, 52 Wk
Low, Market Cap, EPS, P/E Ratio, # Shares Out.
